St. Agnes of Assisi CES had a beautiful Liturgy and presentation in honour of Remembrance Day. Thank you to the families who attended and to our special guests, Warrant Officer Wali Mohamed and Dianne Scaturchio who served in the Canadian Armed Forces. They spoke to our students about the importance of wearing a poppy and the Legion’s role in supporting our veterans. Also, thank you to our choir, to our pianist Olivia L., Ms. Hrovat’s Grade 6 class and to all our staff who made this such a wonderful experience for our school community!
Poppies were distributed to all students. All classroom teachers will be collecting cash donations until November 17th , as proceeds will go to the Royal Canadian Legion. We are also encouraging our students to wear red and black on Friday, November 10, 2023 as a special regard to our Veterans.
