Terry Fox Community Event – Friday, September 25, 2026

Greetings Parents, Guardians and Students of SAA CES!!!

Friday, September 25th is our Terry Fox Walk, Roll and Run Community Event. Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope when he was 21 years old in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Terry ran through rain, snow, heavy winds and hail as he made his way west towards British Columbia. He ran for 143 days. We are pulling together to continue that run. His determination came from his need to help those who have cancer. We are raising money to help those who have and who are working towards curing cancer. Please join our school community by continuing Terry‘s legacy.  By trying like Terry, you can accomplish anything!  Our GOAL is $1700.00.

Thank you to all the families for their donations thus far. There is still time, donations may be made online at the following website:

SAA CES Donation Page: Click on the link below to make online donations:   https://schools.terryfox.ca/St.Anges

As an incentive, we are having a “no homework day”, if we raise $500, tape Mr. Pacheco to a chair, if we raise $1500, and a “movie day/comfy cozy or PJ Day” free civvies Day, by division, if we raise $1700.

If you have collected cash donations, please do not forget to bring this to your child’s teacher/the office by September 25th!

Please review the Parent Letter below for additional information:
