Dear Parent/Guardians:
St. Agnes of Assisi CES is hosting a Jk-Grade 8 Halloween Dance-A-Thon fundraiser! Happening on Friday, October 30th! We anticipate that this event will be highly successful, as it was in the past. Success depends on your supporting effort by assisting your children in getting as much sponsorship as possible from relatives and friends. The Halloween Dance-A-Thon is our main school fundraiser, and the funds raised will help support students throughout the 2026-27 academic year.
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $10,000 to assist St. Agnes of Assisi CES in various activities.
All proceeds gathered will enhance student learning and the funds raised will be used to support the following areas: Classroom Technology (iPad/Chromebooks/classroom technology/), items to support student clubs/collaborative games, support classroom projects, curriculum enhancements and athletics program enhancements (i.e. indoor/outdoor equipment) and equipment for concerts/performances.
St. Agnes of Assisi CES families are strongly encouraged to utilize the York Catholic District School Board’s on-line payment system for donations to the school at www.canadahelps.org. This is a safe and secure method to make an individual donation to the school through an on-line payment method and receive a tax receipt immediately. (If you or a family member are donating online, please be sure to enter the student’s full name -this allows us to correctly identify and credit your family’s donation toward our school fundraiser)
The Top Earning Families will win:
First Place $200 (BEST BUY) Gift Card
Second Place $150 (Cineplex Movie Pass)
The remaining 5 top earning families will win a $50 (Vaughan Mills) Gift Card

*In the event of a tie for the top fundraising amount, the amount will be divided equally among the families who achieve the same highest total.
